A Big Treat!

This weekend we had an extra special treat...we were able to spend some time with some much missed friends. They moved to Big D last year but we've managed to keep in touch. They were in town this weekend so just being able to spend a few hours with them was really fun.

We met them out at their hotel on Saturday night for dinner and fun. The kids really enjoyed the guy that made balloon shapes for them. Check out this peacock!! Don't know which is cuter, the peacock or C. Their both pretty darn cute. :)



We couldn't get over how big the thing was!! What a great hat. ;)



Here's our big boys. We've been hanging out with this family since these boys were one year old. I can hardly believe they're both 6 now!!

After dinner we played games in the rec room of the hotel. They had a Wii, ping pong table, board games, air hockey and a pool table. Since we were the only ones in the rec room, the kids had it all to themselves. They loved it!

Once it grew dark outside, it was time to make smores by the pool. Sooo yummy!

A didn't want to make the smores but he had no trouble eating them with the other kiddos...once his was made and delivered to him. ;)

The night went by way too quickly but we feel so fortunate to have spent some time with them. They were great friends to us when they lived nearby and we know we'll be friends for a very long time regardless of where we all live.
