Day 3: It's Magical!

The morning started off quite early. It went a little something like this...Pitter patter, pitter patter, pitter patter, FLUSH!! Pitter patter, pitter patter, "Daddy? Daddy? Where are my glasses?".

Then we heard chitter chatter coming from the kids' bedroom. A few minutes later all four emerge from their bedroom and K asks my sister, "Mommy, did you put my jammies on me?". She replied, "No.". K turns to the others and says, "See! I told you! It is magical!!!" The kids were so tired they didn't even remember us putting their jammies on them! HA! They were convinced that Mickey came in and did it.

After a fast breakfast, we made the 5 minute walk to Magic Kingdom, all 11 of us wearing a UT t-shirt. We hadn't even made it down Main Street and we had several comments and "Hook 'Em Horns" directed at our little UT group. We did it so we could find each other quickly but it ended up being a hit with at least 2 dozen comments that day!

What was the first ride? Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Z had read about it in the Disney book I bought and could not wait!

And Chip and Dale were our first two autographs. :) A refused to stand with them but don't worry, he warmed up to it as the week went on...

Italian lunch, so yummy and so hungry at that point!!

The parade was a hit. It was the first time the kids were able to see a lot of the characters. I think it boosted the excitement level even though it was HOT outside.

We spent the entire day at Magic Kingdom. Once we found out the night parade is only done on certain nights we decided to stay. Well...the young ones decided to stay. Mimi and Pappasito called it a night early.

I have to say, it wasn't the parade that excited me the most. It was seeing the kids' faces. Especially little J's face. He was in awe of all the lights!

Who can blame him?! I love that parade!!
