Nothing is a quick process with that many people. I have to say, the kids did great!! We made it through security, grabbed lunch, and even had a few minutes to take pictures and get settled before we boarded the plane.
Even baby J was excited! :)
The plane ride was fairly uneventful. The kids played video games, I fed J and he fell right to sleep and the grown ups were each into their own activity as well. Z and I were the only two in our party that didn't check out the bathroom during the flight. Well, I guess J counts too. :)Once we got to the airport, we hopped on a bus and made the trek out to DW. We stayed at the Bay Lakes Tower and I looooved it! It opened last year so it was really clean. Even better was the view we had from our room. Isn't it beautiful!?!?!

So now all we had to do was wait for our luggage to be delivered. We were told it was going to take 3 to 4 hours. Not that bad when we had some exploring to do anyway. Well, 4 hours came and we still didn't have luggage. When we called to find out where it was we were told it would be delivered soon. Then we found out, Opps, it's still at the airport. WHAT??!?! We had 5 kids to get to bed and it was already 10:00!
So we bathed the boys, put them back in the t-shirts they had on and sent them to bed. Unbeknownst to us, my parents (in their own quiet room - wonder why they didn't want to be with all of us ;) hmmm...) called to find out what could be done to speed the process along and the hotel gave us $50 a bag to use at the gift shop to buy clothes or any toiletries we might need...but we had to use it that night. Well, it was 10:30 at this point so we had 30 minutes to go on a shopping spree. We bought jammies, underwear, hats and shirts for the boys, all in about 25 minutes. I'm sure the people working in the store at the time thought we were nuts.
When we got back to the room, we changed the boys into their jammies and called it a night...after our luggage arrived at midnight.
