A Day with Uh Joe

This morning we had breakfast with "Uh Joe" and "Aunt Kendwa". We were all eager to play outside. While Joe and Kendra got fitted for their rentals, we played just outside the store. This has been our favorite spot so far. Apparently whoever plows the sidewalks likes to push the snow to this spot every time because with each snowfall the pile gets just a little higher. Z has been eyeballing it from day one and has made it his mission in life to get to the top. He has yet to make it.
And A? Well, he's usually just under Z so Mommy and Daddy spend all their time making sure he doesn't get squished.

We've been here a few days and each afternoon there has been a good snowfall. When we first arrived there was a thin layer on this fence. Now look!

Three is the magic age around here. Three years old to go to ski school, three years old to ride a "snowmowheel", three years old to tube. So today A was three years old...again. We just had to make sure to say it out of Z's earshot. :)
We were not alone in our tubing today! The area is quite a bit more crowded and now we're having to share and wait! :) Although we didn't mind sharing with J and K today.
After a few trips down with the group, I ran to the car to grab my good camera. I got ready and they all linked up and came down together (you go faster that way).
Here they are in action:
Uh. Guys. Over here! I'm getting a good shot...

Of the side! Check it out - the snow is so powdery it blows in your face. But A is not having a problem. M is holding on to him...by his head! Poor A.

"Try that again. Next time could ya'll wave?" :)
Try number two:

Guys? Oh wait! You were going to try to start backwards in hopes that you'd spin around again.

M yells, "Everyone WAVE!!!"
(I didn't actually expect them to do it.)

Oh yay! There they are - and A can see this time!! :)

So fun!! Tubing was the best part. But I will say: I felt really old. My stomach lurched the first couple of times we went down. What's up with that?!?! I used to be a roller coaster junkie. Ugh.
