This was the conversation as we got out of the car at Double Dave's tonight.
"Do they have root beer?"
"I'm not sure. You can pick one: root beer or dessert. We're not going to have both."
Z contemplates his decision.
"I pick dessert."
"Good choice! That's what I would pick too."
"Then I can have a root beer float for dessert!"
In my mind: Oh sh*$&#$&@! I forgot about that dessert...

Okay, it's bad enough that he has to eat peanut butter with no sugar, but no root beer float? Poor kid . . .
