That is Z's new question these days. After days of hearing it and not being able to figure out what he was asking he did the work for me.
Our conversation:
"Mama, what's your number?"
"Umm...7."
"Nooo...your number!"
"I don't understand."
"You say, 'What's your number'."
"Z, what's your number?"
"I'm three years old!"
In my mind: Oooooo...duh! My NUUUMBER!!
"Mama, what's your number?"
"I'm 29 years old."
And in my heart: I felt like I'd just figured out the world's hardest math problem.
