So A and I went to drop Z off at school this morning. Typical morning, nothing out of the ordinary.
When we arrived I reminded Z that he has two jobs when we walk into class: pull his lunchbox out and put his waterbottle in the basket. Off we go to his classroom. As I sign him in I hear him greet Mrs. Box and then start to work on his jobs. She compliments him for remembering (Go Mom!) and asks him if he helps put his toys away at home. He tells her yes and I tell her, We run a tight ship." Haahaa - we both laugh.
Then she said, "Did Z tell you that he spoke with my husband on the phone?"
I chuckled and said, "Noooo..."
She laughed and said, "He called on Wednesday. I was caught off guard because he knows I'm busy with the kids so I thought I'd better answer it. Z asked who was on the phone and I told him my husband. Then he asked if he could talk to him so I passed him the phone. They had a lovely little conversation."
I giggled and said, "Yeah...he's pretty shy..."
Apparently when she got home her husband was still laughing about his conversation and told her he "needs to meet that little guy".

I wish I had him to answer my phone at my house, my twins just say, "Mama, just let the machine get it!" funny!
