GIRLS ONLY!!

So I am now officially three decades old. Matt planned a wonderful girl's weekend for me. I am both rejuvinated and completely exhausted - a very strange, blissful feeling.

My mom and Kim drove up Saturday afternoon and met me at the Renaissance Hotel. We put on our swimsuits to relax before the big night out. It was so nice to just chill with them. No one to entertain, keep safe or just plain worry about.

Then it was on to dinner at the Iron Cactus where Mary, Jennifer and Monica met up with us. We had good food and great laughs. Just what I wanted.Only the brave continued on for some downtown fun. Our shuttle, driven by Stacey, picked us up at the hotel and we were on to party with Group B. We had lots of fun and laughs at some Fork place. I don't know the name, not because of intoxication, I just can't remember the name! At midnight we moved the party to Cuba Libre. By this time we had Group C - only 6 very determined girls made it to the end. :) We enjoyed a bit of dancing, picture taking, gabbing and Limonadas!!

Kim and I made it back to the hotel around 2:30, giggled our way up to the 5th floor and must have been a little loud. As I was digging for the key the door flung open and a flash went off. My mom was up and ready with the camera - can't wait to see those pictures!

Sunday was a nice quiet day with lunch and shopping, just the Ochoa girls. I had a great 30th thanks to Matt, my family and fabulous friends. It was so much fun to see everyone, catch up and have some great laughs. You can't ask for anything more than great memories...
