Photo Shoot

I realized it's been a year since I took the boys out for a photo shoot. Yikes! A few days ago I started planning their outfits in hopes of heading out early one morning before the heat melts us all. Today was the day. It went...well, you tell me.

"Ok, guys. Can you sit here with J? Um. J."

And he's off. Hmm. We may need to try a different tactic.

"Let's try the steps."

"A. Can I get a picture of just you with a little smile."

"Never mind. Don't smile. No, DON'T smile." Perfect.

Back to the steps. "Can you guys give J a kiss?"

"AWESOME!"

And J decides to take off so we all chase after him.

Then we look at the cars. Anything is more interesting that sitting so Mom can take some pictures.

I can take a hint. "Let's lay on the grass! Z you first, but NO smiling." Perfect.

"Ok, A. You're next. Just lay right there....."

"Bless you! Ok. NOOOO smiling."

A determined mom has not given up on the steps. One more time..."Ok, give J your juiciest kiss!"

"Um. Ok. Maybe that was too juicy."

And we're walking again. Awwww...that's cutie!

"Hey! Are you guys hungry? We can go get smoothies if you sit on the steps one more time."

Mission accomplished!! And mom needs a drink and a shower. Can't wait to do it again next year.
