PUFFIES!!!

Well, we are on our way to real solid food with J. I'm not talking about that nasty baby food that's sort of solid, but really runs off your spoon when you scoop it. I'm talking about puffies and Cheerios!

As usual when we first started the puffies he gagged and spluttered. After a few days he got the hang of them and went after them on his own. Now I rattle the container and he squeals with excitement.

After he's had his milk and his "solid" food, I pour a few puffies on his tray and he's off. It takes concentration...

...but those little chubby fingers manage to pick up the puffies. He's even showing signs of using those little pincher fingers.

Yup, I think those puffies make him happy!!

Seriously, who can resist that gummy smile?! You can have all the puffies you want precious little man of mine...
