Secret recipe

The big boys are totally into breakfast tacos right now. The other day we stopped to grab some at Taco Cabana. I had enough time to pass them out, get myself situated and taste mine before A had already finished his taco and was moving in on mine!!

This morning when I started making eggs and bacon A asked if he could have his in a tortilla. I told him that was fine. Then he asked, "Can I help you make the tortillas?" I said, "I think I'll do it because I don't want you to burn yourself." He quickly replied, "We don't make them like Wha-leeta." You see, about a month ago the boys spent a weekend with Mimi and Pappasito. Mimi took the boys to Welita's house and they made tortillas...from scratch. I on the other hand buy mine at the store. So no, I don't make them like "Wha-leeta".

Well, I was not about to let him think my tortillas were crap. After he finished his taco he asked for a tortilla with butter. Then it dawned on me! "Hey A, you want cinnamon and sugar on it?" It had been a while since I'd made them this way. ;)

One bite of his warm, buttery tortilla sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar and I got, "Mmmmmmm!!! You should give this recipe to Wha-leeta! She'd love it!" I couldn't let it stop there..."A, are these better than Welita's?" "Mmmmmmhmmmmmm!"

Heehee! I win! ;0) Even if I swayed the votes...
