Happy 7 Months!!

Yaaaay! B.O.B. (baby other brother) is 7 whole months old! Seriously. Where...did...the time...GO?!?!

He is at one of my favorite ages right now. He's playful and happy, he's scooting and starting to eat solid foods...even if he does miss his mouth sometimes. :)

He's got quite a few new tricks. Along with being able to clap, he's got a little bit of balance to sit up on his own. The other night after all stinky boys were bathed and smellin' fresh again we did a little photo session in the living room. J and I played while we waited for the big boys to get jammies on. We're not into those na-kid kind of photos for anyone over a year around here! Though the way the big boys prance around the house in their birthday suits I'm sure they wouldn't mind. Anyway, I diverted. Here's J...

Then those big boys were ready. They plopped down next to J on either side.

I kept trying to get A to smile. As you can see, J was wondering where his smile went.

Then Z got in on the funny faces, except J and A were wondering what the heck he was doing!

And this is the best we could come up with...thanks, A. Sheesh. That little stinker knows what Mommy wants him to do!

The 25th was his actual 7 month birthday. That was A's first day of preschool so I was able to do a little one-on-one shoot with J. Here he is in all his chubby glory!!

So he's sitting up and he's pushing up to all fours quite easily now. Rockin' every day, just hopin' it will stay that way!

Then we put clothes back on and I tried to get him crawling. He is doing much better with the army crawl. He's actually got the arms down quite smoothly. When we went for his check-up last month I noticed his toenail had a weird line on it. Yeah. He's going to loose it from pushing on the floor with that foot so much.

It's a really funny process. He kinda looks around for something interesting, then his eyes literally lock on his target and he's off. Don't get in his way!

Life has changed around here for sure! We have a wonderful addition that has completed our family. J is so snugly and loving. I look forward to my morning hugs and open mouth kisses that I get on my chin or cheek from him. The daily squeals warm my heart. And that gummy grin!! *sigh* It's my favorite! I am so in love with this little guy. I can't wait to see him really mix it up with my big boys. :)
