What A Treat!!

After a celebration with my family yesterday we all had a slumber party at our house for the evening. Adults in the beds, kids on the floor in the nursery. You see, we had big plans today. A few months ago we bought tickets to see the Disney show that was passing through town.

All 4 kids were thrilled with the idea and even more thrilled with the twirling lights that Mimi and Pappasito bought them when we arrived.

We ended up waiting a little while for the show to start because it didn't take us nearly as long as we thought it would to get down there. We were even efficient when it came to going potty beforehand!

Once the show started all eyes were on the stage. The kids were so excited!

Little A kept his hands on his twirling light but he never took his eyes off the stage. He was in awe!

I think this special event added the final touch to a wonderful Christmas. I had mixed feelings about not going home to be with my extended family for Christmas morning, but in the end it all worked out the way it should. We still spent a lot of time with my family, had a super fun sleepover where my sister and I stayed up late chatting (As usual we were tired the next day. We never learn our lesson!), and then a little down time the next morning before heading out for our big show. It really could not have turned out more perfectly!
