Day 2 - More Legoland

Today we went back to Legoland to check out the aquarium. I did notice something very interesting. There was a small "petting" area with starfish, sea cucumbers, hermit crabs and other plants. Who was the only one that would touch and explore the "petting" area...ME! Not one of my boys wanted to touch a thing!! What is up with that?!? I'm the girl, I'm the one that's supposed to be squeamish. Sheesh! M did touch the squishy sea cumcumber, after I made him - only to set an example for the boys. Good grief!

So the aquarium was really nice, but really small. We were done with the whole thing in about about an hour. Hmmm...so we went back into Legoland to hit up some of the favorite rides. A was dead set on riding the Beetle Bounce, his favorite ride from the day before. He also rode his first roller coaster...little daredevil. There is a picture in slideshow that shows M sitting in the front of the coaster. Don't be fooled, he's not alone. Little A is right next to him, he's just too small to see in the picture. :)

The other picture of note: the one of Z and M in front of the Aquazone ride. Let me tell you, those two could have stayed there all day if A and I had let them. They are pushing a button that sends a very large water eruption on the people actually riding the ride. Those two are ruthless!! One poor lady got on the ride with her son and the boys kept pushing the button over and over before the ride had even started!!! She kept turning to look at them and M would point at Z. Nice. I just have to say I felt very sorry for her...that could have been me on there! UGH!

After 5 hours of Legoland we were all done. We went back to our hotel room to rest. We enjoyed an early dinner and then drove another 5 minutes to check out the beach. I'd just like to say the water...is...FREEZING!! The boys were shocked and had the best time playing chicken with the waves. Of course we ended up with wet shorts - oh well. :) Fun was had by all and that's what matters most...
