The little wings get a bit stronger

This afternoon as I was getting the boys ready to play outside for a while when the phone rang. It was my mommy friend with the boy/girl twins.

"Can Z come over and play with G?"

Lemme ask him. Z, you wanna go play at G's house?"

"Right now?"

"Yes."

"YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Well, ok then.

So, my big boy was picked up for his first on-his-own play date. When they got back to G's house Z called to tell me he was safe, but only because Ms. J made him. He had to miss out on two seconds of Mario Kart. Can you believe that?!?!

M went to pick him up and as they walked through the door it was very apparent by Z's grin that he thought he was hot stuff. :) I'm so glad for him! It was a confidence booster in many ways. Not that he was ever lacking. ;)
