This post is for my very dear friend who I love and adore immensely...she's just always the last to know everything. ;) You know who you are.
So, Saturday is the big day. Our flight leaves at 7:25 a.m. for San Francisco, CA. We'll spend the night in Napa and then San Fran on Sunday night. Monday is the big flight to Beijing! It will be a lot of fun to be with all the students, UT staff and other spouses. How much safer can it get?! We'll also be flying over with my friend, Monica. We've known each other for a couple of years and she actually has a friend that lives over there. We've been joking that we're going to have a Cinco de Mayo party on the plane.
If all goes well, I'll be able to blog while we're there and give everyone a little taste of what we're experiencing...minus the smog. They are 13 hours ahead - yikes! Can you say "jet lag"?
Please pray for our safe travels, as well as M's mom and my parents who will be taking care of our little angels until May 13th while we're away. :)
Now my little left behind friend, you're all caught up! ;)
