My Love Language

I have always been a Quality Time kind of person. We read The 5 Love Languages years ago - it's still quality time for me.

Tonight was the perfect night - I can't think of any better way to spend our Valentine's night. After a mediocre nap on A's part and no nap for Z, we took off to meet M downtown for dinner. The boys were ready to "go see Momo". Dinner at Brick Oven was yummy and we were surrounded by kids heading to the same place...Sesame Street Live.

Even though I was sad I couldn't take my big camera to see Momo, I don't think I stopped grinning the entire first half of the show! Just watching the boys mesmerized by all the action on stage made my heart happy. Both boys loved it! A kept pointing to Elmo and saying, "Mama! Momo!", as if he couldn't quite believe it. :)

On the way home, we had been in the car about ten minutes before one was out cold and the other was just chattering away. I'll give you a hint which was passed out...not the usual chatterbox. Yup! A wanted to talk all about what he had seen. "Mama, see Momo." "Eat pee (pizza)." "Boon (balloons)!" "Who was on the balloons?" "MOMO!" "Mama, Yaaa (Z)." "Is he sleeping?" "Yeaaah...seep." The whole...way...home. Here I thought he was going to be the quiet one.

The best part was still to come for me! My Valentine bought my favorites...chocolate covered strawberries. But that's not all! The most beautiful box was waiting for me.

Isn't it awesome!?!?! IT'S A NEW LENS!!! EEEKKKK!! Look at these pictures - totally unedited! I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight...except that all my subjects are already in bed.
