We just had one of those super busy, love every minute of it weekends. Saturday I went to Christmas Affair with my mom, Kim and Stacey. I love it every year! The booths all start to look the same but I love the whole thing. So girlie! I came home and Z and M were off to a birthday party while A and I ran to the store to buy a dessert. When we got home our favorite twin girls came over to babysit the boys. M and Z had such a great time at the party that they were late getting home. I didn't mind because I was able to catch up with "CourChrissy". Someday the boys will be able to tell them apart. :) M and I took off to start our date night. We bought a new Christmas tree (a 9 ft. for our living room - love it!), and had dinner at P.F. Chang's. I think the highlight for M was seeing Mad Dog at the restaurant. That man is intimidating up close!! I guess that's what happens when you're the strength and conditioning coach for the UT football team.
Sunday I substituted in Z's Sunday School class. Me and 6 three year olds. Not bad! I forgot that kids that age will tell you what you want to hear. I did learn that even though the answer was yes, not all have used glue before. Had a few glue puddles to clean up. ;) Apparently they didn't hear me say, "Dot, dot, NOT a lot". It was fun to see Z in action with others and spend some time with him one-on-one. When that ended we came home for lunch and I got started on my projects. Pumpkin cranberry bread for Z's teacher, a fruit tray for their Thanksgiving feast, and turkey cookies for all the kids in his class. I spent the afternoon in the kitchen but do not worry...we still put the new tree up last night! :) Yup, I slept like a rock...
After such a busy weekend I forgot to tell A "Happy 18 Months". He went for his well check last week and he's just fine.
