Cooling Off

Now that it's not quite so hot outside I've been trying to get out with the boys. Z is totally into his big wheel - a very nice hand-me-down from a friend. I told Jennifer that Z just might ride it until the plastic cracks on the wheels.

Our little guy is very determined to ride it too. His legs are too short and someone should tell him that he's backwards! :)

After Z rides the big wheel around the cul-de-sac a few dozen times, then he's on to sidewalk chalk. He loves writing his letters and I'm constantly amazed at how well he can write them. I can actually see the little wheels in his head turning as he tries to visualize the letter before he writes it.

I've pulled my running shoes out of the closet and they've seen pavement this week. They only like to run on the treadmill at the gym with the fan blowing on them. :) It takes a bit of negotiating (with Z and my shoes) but if I stop at the park along the way everyone is happy with our outing. ;)
