Seriously. Who doesn't like to wake up, walk out on the balcony and see this!? Better yet. Who doesn't like to wake up to this on their 7th birthday?!
Our birthday boy spent the day on Castaway Cay and celebrated by snorkeling with sting rays. He was a little intimidated at first but warmed up and was quickly swimming the sting rays and taking it all in.
Castaway Cay is an island owned by Disney. They have people that live out there for weeks and maintain the island as well as greet and entertain the visitors. It was phenomenal! We danced with Mickey after we ate a delicious BBQ lunch.
Then we went back to the beach to snorkel in the beautiful water. The one that enjoyed the snorkeling the most was Z. He took off with us and went way out just peacefully swimming beside me and watching all the beautiful fish around us.
I gotta admit. This picture says it all. We. Were. TIRED!
But. It was time to suck it up and enjoy our last fancy meal on the ship in the one dining hall we'd all been waiting for...The Artist's Palette!
Here there are screens around the room and it looks like you're under the sea with Nemo. Cameras and microphones are placed in discreet places so you can interact with the animation. Crush told Austin Happy Birthday and talked to our table a bit. The kids were in awe! I gotta admit, the adults were too. :) It was Awesome, Totally and Righteous and Sweeeeeet!!
Then for the final show in the theatre. :( Again an amazing performance that is just perfect for the kiddos.
