He was laughing, the boys were laughing, I was laughing. Next thing I know, he stood up! He surprised himself and the rest of us, and then fell on his bottom. We all started clapping for him. The hoopla was enough to tell him he'd done a good thing and he did it again. Planted his hands on the ground, positioned his feet more than shoulder width apart, popped up, wobbled and fell down. Over and over he did it. We clapped and laughed each time, encouraging him with, "Good boy!" or "You did it!".
It is amazing to me! Each time I could see the determination on his little face. Well, it was more of a constipated look but I guess that signifies determination too. ;) He would pop up, fists clenched, little face turning red as he held his breath and tried to hold his upright position.
He is progressing just as he should and it makes my heart so happy!
