Well, I decided to brave it and instead of getting a sitter for J we took him with us. It's always lasted about 30 minutes in the past so how hard could it be, right? Huh. More on that later.
We had dinner and then it was time to get everyone dressed and ready to go. Mimi was here to help and that was fantastic. You see, M leaves 45 minutes before the program starts to be one of the first ones in line. Line?! Yes, line...to get in the doors when they open and stake out that perfect spot up front. You think I'm kidding and I'm so not! Three hundred kids, each with at least two adults, not to mention the siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, pets. Seriously, it's craziness.
So back to getting ready. Got the boys dressed, got myself dressed AND we had time for pictures! :) So here are the boys...
Two minutes after I took it I had to break up a fun game of wrestling with brother. Yes, the big boys thought it would be super fun to wrestle...in their freshly ironed shirts. Mom. Not. Happy. Then we put Mimi in there with them...

With time to spare we were off to the church for the concert. A was so excited! In fact, it was the first thing he mentioned when he crawled out of bed at 6:15 in the morning. He be-bopped his way into the church like he'd done this before. I dropped him off with his class and took my seat.
After the 3 year olds performed, it was time for the big kids. It was so weird to see my little guy up there as a "big kid". He still gets scared of the dark, he still needs me to button his pants sometimes and he sleeps with a puppy every night. But last night he was a big kid. He sang his little heart out and his face beamed every time he would glance at us sitting in the audience.

Wish I could be his teacher! He is adorable!
It was an awesome program! How time flies by. Can't wait to have A sing Silent Night in Spanish for me again ;)
