Today was little boy's turn to celebrate Thanksgiving. Not only am I thankful for little boy keeping me on my toes...every minute of every day...but I am so thankful for his kind, thoughtful spirit.
When I walked into his classroom for their Fall Singing program, he served me apples and caramel dip along with some very tasty pumpkin muffins and juice. He's a totally different kid at school. He's very attentive and shy. Kinda crazy.
They kids all sang cute little Thanksgiving songs and prayed to Jesus - thanking him for Mommies and Daddies. :)

And it's a good thing they thanked Him for Mommies and Daddies. When we got home I emptied all the work for the week from his bag, just like I do every Friday. There was a sweet Thanksgiving picture colored on the outside. On the inside it said...I am thankful for turkeys, octopuses and edemame. Um. We didn't even make the cut!
