Mr. 4 Years Old

Look at me go!! I'm actually keeping up with our life here! Yeah, don't get used to it...

Yesterday our Baby A turned 4! Cra-zy!! It feels like we've been celebrating his birthday for weeks. His party was a few weeks ago, last week we told everyone in Disney so he would receive special desserts and cards and now the day is finally here. Poor kid probably doesn't know which day his birthday really is now! :)

Again we celebrated with cupcakes. When we went to the bakery to pick them out I tried to convince him to get the ones that were already made but noooo...they had to be Mickey Mouse. Wonder why? ;)

I took the cupcakes up to his class and he was thrilled...in that quiet sort of way.

Today I took him outside for a photo shoot that lasted all of 15 minutes. Whatever. I got a good one so to me it was a success.

He's so big now. Sometimes I catch myself just staring at him. I want to remember him just the way he is now. What better way to do that than with a list of 25 Things About A:

1. His drink of choice is milk.
2. About the only green thing he'll eat is kiwi.
3. He's perfectly happy eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches every day for lunch.
4. He looooves light sabers, cars, anything BOY.
5. He hates having his face washed.
6. He still says, "Fank you".
7. His idol is his big brother.
8. He's a lefty all the way - writing, catching, hitting with a bat.
9. His shoes constantly flop on his feet. Why? Because he doesn't like to tighten the Velcro.
10. He can watch Diego all day if I'd let him.
11. Every morning the first words out of his mouth are, "I'm hungry." or "Can we eat breakfast?"
12. He gets his feelings hurt if I don't let him sit on the counter and watch me scramble eggs.
13. He loves when I make "wasagna" despite the fact that I hide veggies in it. ;)
14. He'll try anything if it has Ranch dip on it. Well, anything that's not green.
15. He is happy 23 hours and 45 minutes of the day. The other 15 he's still waking up from his nap so don't bother him.
16. He's our daredevil. Roller coasters and jumping off the couch are right up his alley.
17. He can write his name.
18. He loves to color! Current favorites are Color Wonder markers.
19. He can drop hit a ball. Scary, I know.
20. He'd eat sweets for breakfast, lunch and dinner if it was ok with me.
21. He is still scared of fire engines (we can hear them at night sometimes) and hates the dove that sits at the top of our chimney and sings.
22. He can name all his shapes, colors and letters along with naming the sounds for each letter.
23. He's a quiet observer.
24. He's the best at giving "squeezy hugs".
25. He will talk to J in a special voice when no on is looking. :)
