Day 8: Bye Bye Mickey

All good things must come to an end. Time to pack the suitcases up with dirty clothes, squeeze those souvenirs in and wheel them down to the buses. We enjoyed one last lunch together in the hotel and made our way over to the airport. This picture pretty much sums up how we were alllll feeling at this point.

A was on the mend. Baby J's fever had gone away. Z was totally juiced up on Disney. M and I were worn out. I would say that's a pretty successful trip! :)

Once we landed back in SA we decided to make one last push and drive home. The ride was pretty quiet as you can imagine. Three boys were passed out so M and I had a chance to recap. The sweet black minivan made it's way into our driveway at 10 p.m. We gave the boys a snack and sent them off to bed with wonderful memories of "Mickeyland" as A calls it.

We learned a few things along the way:

1. The trip was totally worth it, despite the sickness that struck.
2. It's The Happiest Place On Earth...if you're under 4 feet tall. You wouldn't believe all the parents we saw yelling at their kids!
3. Staying at the Bay Lakes Tower was perfecto.
4. The dining plan saves you tons of money but is way more food than you can ever imagine.
5. We'll totally be going back when J is 4!!
