Bluebonnet hunt

Today I had a mission...find a good bluebonnet spot for an upcoming photo session. One would think it shouldn't be that hard, right? WRONG!!

I loaded J and A up in the car with a few places in mind that I wanted to check out. I had to pump A up and tell him we were going on "a bluebonnet hunt" rather than "Mommy has to find bluebonnets for work and wants to take a few pictures of you". He's the photographer's child...run/frown when the camera comes out. Hence the picture below...


I think I'm loving the tall yellow flowers the most. If I'd had a cooperative child I might have been able to have a little fun with them.
