Yesterday I had a decision to make: stay home and referee OR get out of the house and find something fun to do. I opted for choice number two.
The Cypress Creek Park is about 3 miles from our house. On one side of the cove there is a boat ramp, on the other side is a small park. The cove is tiny so the entrances are within a hundred feet of each other. We've never been to the park side so I decided this would be the place to visit for a little while. The boys loved it and cooperated the entire time!! :) Huge plus. We went on a treasure hunt, explored a couple of tiny trails and threw rocks into the lake for a good hour and a half. It made me even more excited about the range of possibilities that will be opening up this summer now that A is a little older.
