Eggs, Family and Sugar Highs

We had a WONDERFUL Easter weekend. Oma came down from Dallas on Saturday. That was a special treat because it's been a while since we celebrated Easter with her. Little did she know we were going to run her all over Texas! :)

Sunday morning we woke up and went to the early mass...8:30. Yikes! The boys were still half asleep so it actually worked out perfectly. They did great! Then we came home to change clothes and pack up the car for San Antonio. We made it in time for lunch at Welita's house. It was a lot of fun to be with family. The cousins, both big and small enjoyed being together. The time was filled with yummy hamburgers, an egg hunt and lots of sugar...just the way Easter should be.

4:00 rolled around and it was time for us to head back home. A was out before we hit I35. Z on the other hand hung in there until San Marcos. We suddenly realized it had gotten very quiet in the car. Poor Z fell asleep looking at a book. A had woken up and seized the opportunity to get his two cents in. :)

Dinner, bath and stories sent all of us off into rock solid sleep. I'm not sure I even moved during the night!!
