After a whirlwind trip to Dallas on Sunday, we packed up the boys, ourselves, the dog and all the presents to head to San Antonio. We left on Monday afternoon and made it to my parent's house in time to drop off the boys, grab a quick bite to eat and head out to church. Matt and I were able to actually pray at mass - quite a change! These days A is such a handful that we wonder why we even try some weekends.
Christmas morning the boys were so excited to see that Santa had visited them. They opened their gifts and were able to play for a little while before we had to eat breakfast. Then we were off to Welita's house for more gifts and family time. By early afternoon we were all dragging so we took a quick family break for naps. Kim and Mike brought the girls over later in the afternoon for our family Christmas. We ate a yummy dinner, but we had to eat on nice plates. Everyone tried to convince Mimi that we needed to eat on paper plates (no one wanted to do dishes) but she stood her ground. After dinner we opened gifts and played until everyone started breaking down. :) Then it was off to bed. Having fun can be soooo exhausting!
