IBM Uptown Classic

As if going to Emma Long and the pumpkin patch weren't enough, Matt got up this morning to run a 10K. I saw him off (from the bed) at 6:45 this morning. I was not sure if I wanted to wake the boys to go see Daddy run after such a full day yesterday. I got ready and packed a quick breakfast for the car and as I was finishing up I had a small visitor greet me.

I got the boys dressed and loaded them and the double jogger in the car and we were off. After waffles in the car and a quick drive to the race site we made it just in time to see the first runner pass. He was hitting the 3 mile mark at just under 14 minutes - can you say INSANE!?! Anyway, we saw Matt twice along the route and made sure to yell "GO DAAADDDDDY!" as loud as possible. He did great!! 10K in 53 minutes 14 seconds!

I was so glad we were there to support him and share in his big moment...
